How to apply the Bayer Elanco collar on your dog

1.Remove the collar from its packaging.

2.Unroll the collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain.

3.Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops.

4.Adjust the collar around your dog's neck until it fits comfortably on them.

5.Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it's not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off, unless it is on a growing puppy, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the puppy grows.

6.Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially on growing puppies.

7.Bayer Elanco comes with three optional reflector clips that can be attached to the collar to help keep your dog visible at night. The reflector clips should be evenly distributed on the non-overlapping part of the collar.

I've had my dog for almost 3 years and never had a problem with fleas until we moved to a new apartment, and then it was almost like he was infested within days. The poor girl had severe flea bite marks on her lower abdomen before she noticed me. I bought this product because of the fantastic reviews, but I was skeptical because the price seemed high, I have no regrets! I have worn these necklaces for many years. They are very effective and last even a little longer than advertised since my dog is basically an indoor dog. She goes out into our fenced backyard and there are a lot of trees there, so she could easily get a tick. Sometimes we also have deer in our backyard. She has never had fleas or ticks and now she is 7 years old. I highly recommend the Seresto necklace, but I do not accept substitutions.
